Who we are
FluentWorkForce is operated by Two Syllable LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have a question or a request about your data, email us at [email protected].
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft through Firebase Identity Platform, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
- Learning activity. Your progress through modules, quiz and exercise results, time spent in the app, and the text of the exercises you submit for AI grading.
- Lead form details. If you fill out the contact form on our marketing site, we collect the name, email, and message you enter.
- Payment information. If you buy the paid program, Stripe processes your payment. We don't receive or store your full card number.
- Usage logs. Our servers automatically log requests, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it, and our legal basis
- To provide the service and grade your exercises — necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To respond to enquiries submitted through the lead form — to take steps you request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in following up.
- To keep the platform secure and diagnose problems — our legitimate interest in running a reliable service.
- To measure the results of Google Ads campaigns — with your consent, where the law requires it (see Cookies below).
We don't sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
- Google Cloud. Hosts our infrastructure and stores learner data in Firestore, in Google's eur3 (EU) region. Google also operates Firebase Identity Platform, which handles Google and Microsoft sign-in on our behalf.
- Google Vertex AI (Gemini). We send the text of your exercise submissions to Vertex AI so it can generate grading and feedback. We call the europe-west1 (Belgium) endpoint, so this processing happens in the EU. Google processes the text on our behalf and does not use it to train its own models.
- Stripe. Processes payment for the $149 program. Stripe collects and stores your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number.
- Google Ads / Google Analytics. If you arrive from a Google Ads campaign, we may use Google's tools to measure conversions, subject to your cookie consent (see Cookies below).
Each of these providers only receives the data it needs to do its job for us, under a data processing agreement.
International transfers
Your learning data stays in the EU. Accounts, progress and exercise submissions are stored in Google Cloud Firestore in the eur3 (EU) region, the application runs on Google Cloud Run in europe-west1 (Belgium), and exercise text is graded by Vertex AI through its europe-west1 endpoint.
Two transfers do leave the EEA. Two Syllable LLC is a New Jersey company, so our staff access support data from the United States. Payments run through Stripe, which processes cardholder data in the United States. For both, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the safeguards Stripe and Google make available to their customers. Sign-in is handled by Google Identity Platform, which may verify credentials outside the EEA under the same clauses.
How long we keep your data
- Server usage logs: 30 days, then deleted automatically.
- Account data, learning progress, and exercise submissions: kept while your account is active, and for as long as needed afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete this data, except for limited records (such as payment records) we must keep for tax purposes.
- Lead form submissions: kept for as long as needed to follow up on your enquiry, or until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar laws, you can ask us to:
- Give you access to the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Stop processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time for anything based on consent, such as marketing cookies
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your session. These are required for the service to work and can't be turned off.
Marketing cookies may be set if you arrive via a Google Ads campaign, so we can measure conversions. These are only set with your consent, which you can give or withdraw through the cookie banner on our site. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising beyond measuring our own campaigns.
Children's privacy
FluentWorkForce is intended for people aged 16 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our product or legal obligations change. We'll post the new version here with an updated date, and for material changes we'll notify account holders by email.
